We are seeing a large spam and phishing wave using fake Facebook Business Manager partner requests.
These emails usually say things like “You’ve received a Business Manager partner request” and try to scare or confuse users into clicking links, logging into fake Facebook pages, or giving scammers access to business accounts.
Some of the messages are designed to look very convincing and may even use trusted platforms or fake Meta branding to appear legitimate.
Today we implemented additional filtering rules across our mail systems to help block these phishing campaigns before they reach customer inboxes.
If you receive unexpected Facebook business requests, always verify them directly through your real Facebook Business account and never trust links inside unsolicited emails.
