We are seeing scammers abuse the sites.google.com platform to create fake webpages that trick people into calling scam phone numbers, entering passwords, or sending money.

Many of these fake pages are being sent through spam emails pretending to be invoices, antivirus renewals, Meta Verified alerts, Facebook support notices, or account security warnings.

The scammers try to make the pages look official by pretending they are from Meta Verified, Microsoft, PayPal, Geek Squad, McAfee, and other trusted companies.

Today we added new filtering rules across our mail systems to help block and discard messages containing suspicious Google Sites phishing links.

Not every dangerous website looks fake anymore. Many scammers now hide behind trusted platforms to fool people into lowering their guard.

Stay alert and always double check links before clicking.
